By ASA MADALE, March 15, 2009, Manila Bulletin
MARAWI CITY – Mindanao State University (MSU) President Dr. Macapado A. Muslim has issued a memorandum requiring all owners of buildings or houses constructed within the vicinity of MSU academic edifices here and inside MSU-owned lands to voluntary demolish their structures and also prohibits the illegal construction within the premises of the government-owned lands being used for instructional and other academic activities. As these developed, Muslim issued a directive to the directors of the department of security services and physical plant division to ensure the enforcement of the order. Muslim also ordered the prohibition of construction of all forms of illegal structures – whether temporary or permanent, new construction or continuation of an unfinished project – inside the MSU compound.
